Westlake’s Kobe, Paul named OHSAA Scholar Athletes

Westlake High School seniors Liz Kobe and Logan Paul have earned the honor of being named OHSAA Scholar Athletes. This award is given to one female and one male student, who combine academic achievement with multiple varsity letters in high school sports. Kobe was named as a first team All-Southwestern Conference selection in basketball, along with earning varsity letters in cross country, basketball and track and field. She has graduated with a 5.1 GPA and was ranked No. 1 in the class of 2013. She will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall. Paul earned letters in both wrestling and football and was named SWC MVP in football, along with taking fifth place in the state in wrestling. In addition, he has graduated with a 4.7 GPA and will be attending Ohio University in the fall. (West Life file photos)
