Murder suspect found dead at Red Rood Inn

The tragic chain of events apparently began shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday when police received a call of possible gunshots on Eldred Avenue in Lakewood. Responding officers found the victim, 49-year-old Charles W. Junke, of Fairview Park, in the driver’s seat of a minivan. He had been shot twice in the shoulder and face.

Public outcry needed to stop immigration amnesty, speaker say

U.S. immigration policy has gone from “idiotic to insane to dangerous,” according to Peter Kirsanow, a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. Kirsanow was the guest speaker at a meeting of the Westshore Republicans Thursday at Westlake Porter Public Library.

Civil rights commissioner to speak on immigration policy

A partner with the Cleveland-based Benesch Attorneys at Law firm, Peter Kirsanow’s legal practice focuses on representing management in employment-related litigation and contract negotiations. He was appointed to the Commission on Civil Rights for two six-year terms by President George W. Bush and a third term by Speaker of the House John Boehner.
