City councils block speed limit increase on Crocker-Stearns

Westlake City Council voted 6 to 1 against raising the speed limit on Crocker Road at a May 7 meeting. Ward 2 Councilman Nick Nunnari cast the only vote in favor of the proposed increase. In April, council’s safety committee voted 2-1 against the increase.
