New St. Raphael church to be blessing for generations, pastor says

During the dedication Mass, Bishop Richard Lennon prayed over and blessed several parts of the new church, including the lectern, the organ, the baptismal font and the presider’s chair. Later, the bishop anointed and blessed the altar in a side chapel, to be called the Franciscan Chapel. Lennon also anointed the walls of the church with holy oil at four locations.
