Eat, drink and be Irish. These area establishments are offering specials, so that you can make the most of your St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Around the Corner Saloon

A traditional Irish brunch is served beginning at 8:30 a.m., as well as corned beef and cabbage dinners. There is live music all day, with Galen’s Irish Band on the front stage at 4 p.m., Pop Rocks in the warehouse at 7 p.m. and CL DJ at 11 p.m.

Bearden’s

Brian Fowler of WGAR 99.5-FM radio will begin the day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Stop in for breakfast, green beer and bagpipes.

Burntwood Tavern

Corned beef and cabbage dinners, corned beef sandwiches and lamb stew will be served, along with the regular menu.

Find everything you need for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration here, including T-shirts, hats, caps and walking sticks, greeting cards, jams, cookies and candy, Celtic and Claddagh jewelry, Belleek china, and Waterford and Galway crystal. You can even buy Irish shamrock seeds and plant them in a bag of certified Irish soil. Casey’s has extended hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until St. Patrick’s Day, but is closed on March 17.

The Irish Barber

Get a proper pint and a smart-looking haircut before you head downtown for the parade. Proprietor Sean Gormley’s attached full-service bar called the Corner Pub will be open for corned beef sandwiches and music before and after the parade. Bagpipers will entertain at noon.

The doors open at 9 a.m. for brunch. Irish menu items and drink specials will be available all day on Mar. 17. A Hangover Brunch, with a full a la carte brunch menu, will be served the next day. Donal O’Shaughnessy will provide entertainment from noon to 2 p.m. There will be a cornhole tournament with cash prizes.

Stamper’s Grill Pub

The Burke School of Irish Dance performs at 9 p.m. on March 16, followed by Irish music at 10 p.m. The doors open at 10 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day, and there will be free green beads and derby hats. An Irish sing-along with the Irish Cottage Boys takes place at 3 p.m. Irish music by Jeff Varga, featuring fiddle player Kevin Richards of Brace Yourself Bridget, is featured at 6:30 p.m.
