The third-annual Village Foundation Run through beautiful Bay Village, to benefit the Village Foundation, will be Saturday at 9 a.m., at Cahoon Park. Pre-registration is available on line at www.hermescleveland.com for $20, or in person, on the day of the race for $25. Race packets will be available for pickup on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at Cahoon Park. The first 350 participants will get a cool, dry-tech, long-sleeved t-shirt. Funds collected by the not-for-Profit “Village Foundation” are for Bay Village community projects. Cahoon Memorial Park is at the north end of Dover Center Road. Board members will be available at 7:30 to register walkers and runners and distribute packets. More than 350 walkers and runners registered last year. Only the first 350 entries receive the great shirt pictured here. Participants have told us that the shirt alone is worth more than the entry fee. Chairman for this event is Trustee, Tim Atkinson, who says, “Please join us for a good cause, rain or shine.” (Photo courtesy of the Village Foundation)
