The Capitol Theatre will be screening the “Christmas Story” film at 10 a.m.

A holiday wine event takes place next door at the Copper Cup, 680 Dover Center Road in Westlake, at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19. Chef Joe Dubbs will host a special taste of the holidays paired with wine samples.
The menu starts with Blue Point oysters on the half shell with bloody mary granite and micro cilantro, complemented by Ruffino Proseco. Artisan cheeses and charcuterie will be served with Sonoma Hills Cabernet. A smoked ham, Boursin cheese and arugula panini will be paired with Sonoma Hills Pinot Noir, and bacon-wrapped scallops with curried apricot chutney will be accompanied by Sonoma Hills Chardonnay. Dessert is assorted dark chocolate truffles and Veuve Clicquot Brut Yellow Label.
