By Sue Botos

Westshore

An appearance by celebrity chef Rachael Ray, originally scheduled for Dec. 14, will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Rocky River High School auditorium.

The ticketed event, which was initially cancelled due to weather, is being presented by Rocky River Public Library and Joseph-Beth Booksellers. Tickets are free with the purchase of Ray’s new book “Week in a Day” for $24.99 plus tax. Orders for books and tickets can be made by calling Joseph-Beth Booksellers at 216-444-1700, or can be bought at the event. Purchases also can be made at Joseph-Beth Booksellers, Cleveland Clinic, 9500 Euclid Ave. Ray will pre-sign all books for the event, and signed copies will available at the event check-in area. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Ray will talk about her new cookbook, which shows how to create a week’s worth of meals in one evening. The best-selling author also hosts a syndicated daily talk and lifestyle program aired locally on WKYC-TV3.

Anyone who bought a book/ticket and has not received the items yet may pick them up at the event. Those with tickets should bring it to the talk as a ticket is required for admittance and to receive a book.

Joseph-Beth Booksellers is donating a percentage of all sales to the Rocky River Public Library. For more information, please call the bookstore at 216-444-1700.
