The cities of North Olmsted and Lakewood both cited the terrible weather in moving the annual Halloween Trick or Treating night from Wednesday to Sunday this year.
Both cities set the times for 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday. North Olmsted Mayor Kevin Kennedy said he also was switching the time from the traditional 6 to 8 p.m. to give the trick or treaters better conditions.
“”We’ll just have switched the clocks that morning,” he said. “We think 5 to 7 is a better time when you consider that the hours of daylight just changed because of the clock change. This way is better for the kids.”
