Kostos, Warriors run roughshod over Brooklyn

Fairview High School senior running back Drew Kostos led the Warriors to a 49-21 victory over Brooklyn Friday night.

Kostos ran for touchdowns of 70, 1 and 24 yards.

Fairview broke out to a 28-0 lead, before Brooklyn got into the endzone on a 77-yard run.

Sophomore Quinn Gullette scored on a 20-yard scamper to put the Warriors up 35-7 at the half. Senior Alex Colon ran in another Warriors touchdown, this one from 25 yards out. The Warriors’ onslaught began with a 10-yard Dan Kilrain reception of a Jason Kish pass in the first quarter. The victory puts Fairview at 4-1 in the PAC Stripes division and 7-1 overall.

 

Columbia stays undefeated with win over Longhorns

The Columbia Raiders defeated the Lutheran West Longhorns (4-4, 2-3 in the PAC) by a score of 21-7 in a Patriot League Stripes division game.

The Longhorns lone touchdown came on a 5-yard scoring strike from Greg Kunze to Andrew O’Hara to cut Columbia’s lead to 14-7. The Raiders were able to score a touchdown with six minutes remaining to put the game away.

 

Cardinals fall to Keystone

Keystone defeated Brookside 49-14 Friday. Brookside (3-5, 2-3 in the PAC) had touchdowns on a 20-yard pass from Arin Pruitt to Matt Kime, and a 7-yard Jake Morgan run.
