The Gardens at Westlake, a retirement community in Westlake, will host an information night about dementia from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Entitled “Exploring the Diversity of Dementia,” the health fair will include speakers from United Healthcare Doctors, Alzheimer’s Association, Cleveland Clinic at Home, West Bay Care (Genesis Healthcare) and Memory Training Center of America.
Hor doeuvres and wine will be among the refreshments offered.
Last June, the Gardens at Westlake launched The Residence Club, a program for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, a condition that affects memory but does not affect the ability to do daily tasks. The program is for persons living at the assisted living facility.
