WESTLAKE — William Fekete, 22, died Saturday at St. John Medical Center after suffering injuries in a single-car accident in the Bradley Woods Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.
The Elyria man was a passenger in a 2005 Mitsubishi four-door sedan when the driver lost control and struck a tree, according to Monica Banks Hines, a public information specialist with the Cleveland Metroparks. The accident is still under investigation, she said.
Five persons were in the car at the time of the Saturday afternoon accident. All were taken to area hospitals. Two females were still hospitalized as of Monday afternoon, Banks Hines said.
White Oak Lane, the primary road in the Bradley Woods Reservation on which the accident occurred, reopened Monday afternoon after being closed since the crash.
Fekete was the son of Hajni Fekete, the longtime director of the now-closed Murton’s Child Development Center preschool in Fairview Park.
