Cleveland chefs will rock the city this summer.
Join Chefs Brian Doyle of the Beachland Ballroom and Chef Brian Rosander of Rosander’s Berea on June 19 in the Waterloo Arts District for, “Piggy Stardust and the Flavors from Mars.” The chefs are banding together with area musical group Vanity Crash for an over-the-top popup party where foodie celebration meets rock show theatre.
Produced by Emerging Chefs in partnership with the Beachland Ballroom, the party will spill out into the streets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cleveland Rocks Foundation.
“One thing unique to Cleveland is that the best ideas roll in on the night,” David Allen Moss, Emerging Chefs co-founder said. “When Vanity Crash and Chef Rosander presented the concept for a glam rock dinner over PBRs at the 5 O’Clock, I immediately looked to Beachland owner, friend and local music evangelist Cindy Barber.”
Beachland Ballroom owner Cindy Barber quickly gave the go ahead to use the venue, noting, “We couldn’t think of a better venue in the city for this crazy party.”
The $70 general admission tickets include a six-course meal paired with libations and entertainment. Visit www.piggystardust.eventbrite.com to make a reservation.

Zack Bruell’s Restaurant Tour Challenge kicked off on May 27 and runs through Sept. 2.
Purchase dinner at each of Chef Bruell’s restaurants this summer to earn a stamp on your tour ticket.
