Division I
The Westlake Demons defeated Southwestern Conference foe North Olmsted to take the sectional crown Saturday night at Midview High School, 76-54. Leading the way for the Demons was Gavin Skelly with 21 points and 5 rebounds, followed by Makis Beach, with 15 points and 3 assists, and Bryan Mackenzie, with 11 points. Jordan Wolfe led the Eagles with 14 points, followed by William Lucien with 10. Westlake will face Elyria High School tomorrow night in the district semifinals at 7:30 p.m. at Midview High School.

Lakewood fell to Berea 68-49 in the Broadview Heights district on Saturday.
Division II
Bay defeated Buckeye, 64-53, to move on to play Cleveland Central Catholic tonight in the district semifinals at Westlake High School. Ryan Voiers led the Rockets in scoring with 14 points, followed by Scott Rapps with 12. The Rockets face No. 1 seed Cleveland Central Catholic tonight at 7 p.m. in the district semifinals at Westlake High School.
Rocky River defeated Vermilion, 56-46, and will face Benedictine tomorrow night at Westlake High School at 7 p.m.
Division III
Lutheran West fell to No. 1 seed Gilmour Academy, 61-43.
