Bruno’s Ristorante, 2644 W. 41st St., Cleveland, 216-961-7087: There is an Italian saying, “The heart that loves is always young.” Celebrate Valentine’s Day with the Romance of Italy dinner at Bruno’s. The meal begins with Gorgonzola-cheese-stuffed artichokes and four-cheese ravioli in light cream sauce. Entree choices are grilled swordfish or beef filet Italiano, followed by a salad with sparkling wine vinaigrette. Dessert is heart-shaped gelato Valentine. The meal, available on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15, is accompanied by wine pairings for $38 a person, plus tax and tip.
Burntwood Tavern, 19304 Detroit Road, Rocky River, 440-333-6700: Valentine’s Day specials like prime rib and fresh halibut will be offered in addition to the regular menu. After dinner, sit by the fireplace and enjoy the music of Ted Riser.
Create-a-Cake, 17114 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, 216-521-7675: Valentine’s Day cakes are available in all flavors and fillings. Create-a-Cake also offers specialty cakes like cassata with fresh strawberries and Bellini with peach-sparkling wine filling and Italian buttercream icing.
Crocker Park, 189 Crocker Park Blvd., Westlake, 440-871-6880: Take a magical carriage ride around Crocker Park on Valentine’s Day and help raise money for a special cause. Carriage rides are $20 a person, and 30 percent of the proceeds are being donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Carriage rides are being offered from 5 to 9 p.m., and depart from guest services at Main Street and Crocker Park Boulevard.

Emerald Necklace Inn, 18840 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, 440-333-9100: Your special someone will love a gift certificate for a mini facial, pedicure or massage. The “Pamper Me” overnight stay includes a wonderful breakfast. The Emerald Necklace Inn also offers tea tasting classes for $15 a person, with tea samplings and light refreshments.

The meal includes winter squash terrine, salad or lobster bisque, grilled swordfish, braised short ribs or roasted chicken breast and a special lover’s dessert for two. The last seating is at 8 p.m.

Wagner’s of Westlake, 30855 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, 440-871-8800: Take your honey dancing at the Big Band Brunch on Feb. 16, featuring the music of the Dan Zola Orchestra. The orchestra plays from noon to 3 p.m., with buffet brunch seatings at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The menu includes carved roast beef and ham, baked chicken with dressing and gravy, pork, kielbasa and sauerkraut, breakfast items and a waffle station. The cost is $29.95 a person, plus tax. Call ahead for reservations.
