Cleveland’s independently owned restaurants plan to lure customers in March 4 through March 15 with three-course prix fixe dinners for $33, plus tax and tip. Here are some of the West Side dining establishments participating in the Cleveland Independents Restaurant Week promotion.
Bruno’s Ristorante, 2644 W. 41st St., Cleveland, 216-961-7087: Choose from any appetizer on the menu, any chicken or pasta entree and any dessert for your three-course meal.
Don’s Lighthouse, 8905 Lake Ave., Cleveland, 216-961-6700: First-course offerings are soup or salad, stuffed mushrooms or bruschetta. Entree selections are roasted chicken, steak Oscar, Faroe Islands salmon or Maine lobster tail. Dessert choices are vanilla bean ice cream, bread pudding, fruit sorbet or chocolate mousse.
Flying Fig, 2523 Market Ave., Cleveland, 216-241-4243: Begin your meal with soup, winter salad or polenta with mushrooms and greens. Dinner choices are posole with Ohio pork shoulder, seafood stew, quinoa-stuffed acorn squash or grilled hanger steak. Follow it up with a dessert of Ohio apple crisp or a brownie parfait.
Hyde Park Steakhouse, 21 Main St., Westlake, 440-892-4933: Dinner starts with a choice of wedge salad or lobster bisque. Entree offerings are grilled salmon, chicken Milanese or bacon-wrapped twin filets. Dessert is flourless chocolate torte or New York-style cheesecake with raspberry sauce.
Luxe Kitchen, 6605 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, 216-920-0600: Select a salad topped with grilled carrots and fire-roasted tomatoes, or an appetizer of pork bruschetta. Main dishes are Peroni-braised chicken over polenta or bucatini pasta with vegetables. Dessert is vanilla goat cheese panna cotta or pistachio waffle cone bread pudding.
Pier W, 12700 Lake Ave., Lakewood, 216-228-2250: Appetizer choices are soup, coquilles St. Jacques or wild boar pate en croute. Entrees are pesto-crusted blue cod, almond-crusted golden trout, toasted Long Island duck or filet mignon medallions. Desserts are chocolate peppermint cheesecake or housemade sorbets. Three-ounce wine pairings are available with three courses for an additional $15.
Players, 14523 Madison Ave., Lakewood, 216-226-5200: Dine on appetizers of almond-crusted Brie, cumin- and coriander-dusted calamari or portobello mushroom pierogi, followed by soup or salad. Dinner entrees are almond-crusted salmon, penne alla vodka with Gulf shrimp, three-cheese macaroni and cheese with chicken and smoked bacon, and pineapple-glazed pork tenderloin.
Spice Kitchen and Bar, 5800 Detroit Ave., Cleveland, 216-961-9637: Two three-course meal choices are offered. The first is sunchoke bisque, roast pork tenderloin and vanilla pot de creme. The second option is Bibb salad with grapefruit and goat cheese, followed by farro with roasted mushrooms and lime tart served with preserved berries.

Entree choices are spaghetti or rigatoni, chicken Parmigiana, chicken scaloppini, half slab of ribs, lasagna, ravioli, angel hair pasta primavera or baked salmon.
