Brediger hired as new North Olmsted head football coach

The North Olmsted City Schools Board of Education approved the appointment of Tim Brediger as the head varsity football Coach for North Olmsted High School.
Brediger is a 1994 graduate of North Olmsted High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He was an All-District football player and All-Ohio baseball player. In 2005, Brediger was inducted into the North Olmsted High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
At Mercyhurst College, Brediger was a three-year starter at wide receiver and team captain on the football team, where he earned both All-American and Academic All-American honors. He has served as the assistant varsity football coach for 14 years, and was the defensive coordinator for nine years. He is also an honors-biology teacher at North Olmsted High School.
He resides in Avon with his wife and two daughters. His wife is a guidance counselor in the North Ridgeville school district.
“I am honored and privileged to accept the head coach position at North Olmsted High School,” Brediger stated. “This has been a dream of mine since I started coaching, and I am excited to begin the journey. I hope to continue the Eagle tradition with pride, character and class, and am truly blessed to have this opportunity.”
