Bike inspections offered at Saturday’s safety fair

Residents, families, and community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, get their bicycles inspected at no cost for safety, learn how to ride safely and properly fit a bike helmet, register their bicycles, and more. The event is free and will feature a number of community vendors who will offer bike safety tips, tricks, and resources.

CORRECTION: Incorrect date given for Westlake State of Schools report

Due to an editing error, an article in the Jan. 28 issue of West Life incorrectly stated that Superintendent Geoff Palmer’s state of the schools report is this Tuesday. Palmer’s state of the schools talk took place last Tuesday, Jan. 27. An article on Palmer’s remarks will appear in the Feb. 4 issue of West Life. West life regrets the error.

Civil War Encampment tradition continues at new middle school
