Board faces decisions in search for Keenan’s successor

The board may move closer to answering some of the questions regarding finding a new superintendent at its April 28 meeting when more information is expected to be presented. At that meeting, the board is expected to review the qualifications of three consulting firms – Finding Leaders; the Ohio School Board Association; and Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates – it has contacted regarding the superintendent search.

Under Westlake’s current five-year contract with Rumpke Consolidated Companies Inc., automated collection of trash and recyclable materials is scheduled to begin in August. However, the company can elect to alter the contract and continue the current collection method.
