Great Lakes Brewing Co. (GLBC) is cooking up a collaboration beer on May 21 and serving it at the World Beer Festival in Cleveland on June 14.

The collaboration beer brewed especially for the World Beer Festival will be served at both the GLBC and the All About Beer Magazine booths. It will also be available as part of a kickoff to the festival, to take place a week prior to the event, and will be sold in some retail locations around Northeast Ohio.

“Great Lakes is committed to supporting events in our backyard and ensuring that Clevelanders know we offer much more than our popular core brands,” Luke Purcell, GLBC head brewer, said. “This collaboration project is a great way to showcase the talents of our brewers and create something fun for the World Beer Festival.”

The style of the beer will be released to the public prior to the festival. The World Beer Festival is held at the Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. Admission tickets are $35 and include a tasting glass and 40 taste tickets to sample from more than 200 beers.
