Westlake High School moves toward full International Baccalaureate status

International Baccalaureate is an educational program established by a foundation based in Switzerland. The organization’s three programs – for primary, middle and high school levels – are designed to “develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world,” according to its website.

Tri-C, LENSC offering astronomy course

Cuyahoga Community College is partnering with Lake Erie Nature & Science Center to offer a 14-week astronomy course this semester. The Thursday afternoon class, taught by Tri-C faculty, will take place at the Schuele Planetarium at LENSC in Bay Village.
