Following the narrow defeat of a 5.9-mill operating levy last month, Westlake City Schools is seeking community input regarding its current financial situation.
Board of Education members unanimously agreed they needed community feedback before considering whether or not to place an operating levy on the November ballot.
The feedback is being sought in the form of an online survey.
The four-screen survey asks questions such as why residents voted for or against the levy and where they get their information about the district.
The survey is confidential and administered by a third party. Westlake Schools will receive a summary report of all survey input.
The survey can be accessed online through the school district’s website at www.wlake.org.
