Cleveland: Westlake’s engineering, financial assumptions on water switch erroneous

The city of Cleveland on Thursday doused cold water on Westlake’s intention to switch water suppliers, saying some of the city’s engineering and financial assumptions on the benefits of buying water from Avon Lake Municipal Utilities (ALMU) are erroneous.

Baker hopes to be GOP delegate for Romney

State Rep. Nan Baker has signed up to be a Republican delegate candidate pledged to Romney. She will attend the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa in August as a Romney delegate if the former Massachusetts governor carries the Ohio presidential primary, currently set for June 12.
